About Me....

I am a self taught artist residing on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia.

Painting is my full time occupation and my emotional outlet. As an artist, I am often asked what type of art do I paint. I usually answer by saying abstract or contemporary although I am not sure that any art should be categorized....does it really matter? Art means something different to everybody!

When I begin to paint, I am not sure what the final product will look like but I know it will be unique, interesting and one of a kind.

I have a favourite quote from Henry Ward Beecher which I believe is the basic reason why paint is spread onto canvas...."Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures".
